Nebraska: Become A Notary: Nebraska Notaries are commissioned by the Secretary of State for a 4-year term. An application fee is required.
- You must be at least 19 years of age;
- You must be a resident of or working in Nebraska;
- You cannont have been convicted of a felony or a crime involving fraud or dishonesty within the previous five years;
- You are required to pass a written take-home test before applying.
